About Me

Hello, I am Alison and I am a jeweller, silversmith, lover of anything that sparkles, novice gardener (I still don't know whether I have weeds or flowers in my first ever garden), lover of the countryside, although I live in the City.

Most people know me from visiting Old Spitalfields Market in London whereby I have had a stall there for nearly 20 years.  I trained at Sir John Cass School of Art where I studied silversmithing for three years.

I have to say that I didn't start out making jewellery.  I was working in the corporate world making my way up the corporate ladder.  I worked long hours and lived a very stressful professional life.  Mind you, I loved the perks and the fabulous holidays that went with this, but deep down I was an unhappy soul.  My dream was to start my own business.  I always thought that I would work for myself, but what, how, when?  I signed up for my first jewellery making class in the local tech and I was hooked.  I then went on to study at Sir John Cass School of Art studying silversmithing part-time whilst still working long hours in my corporate job.  Then, out of the blue, I was made redundant.   Which lead me to start my own jewellery making business (which was so scary at the time)!

So now, I am learning a new skill which is running my online shop.  I believe you never stop learning and I am determined for all you lovely people to find my jewellery online.  I still also love selling and meeting my customers face to face so you can come and see me at Old Spitalfields Markets on Sundays and other events throughout the year.

I hope you like my website.  New products are added on a regular basis, so if you don't see something you like then please pop back.

If you need to contact me please email me at or pop down to my stall at Old Spitalfields Market on a Sunday.
